    Production Planner

    $38-$48 /hr DOE

    Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for optimizing production schedules? Our client is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build on your skills as a Production Planner as well as offering a competitive pay rate and completion bonus opportunities

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule and plan production lines to meet customer requirements and maximize revenues
    • Coordinate the flow of materials to support production plans and customer needs
    • Maintain production Kanban quantities and ensure inventory accuracy
    • Order components to achieve optimal stock levels and support production goals
    • Interface with department supervisors to communicate production schedules and resolve issues
    • Compile status reports on inventory levels and production performance
    • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency
    • Serve as the primary contact for customer analysts and production inquiries

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing environment, particularly in Production Planning and Materials Management modules
    • Proficiency in Windows, email, and Microsoft Office
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Experience with disciplined production scheduling and control
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
    • APICS certification preferred

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related discipline
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, with in-depth SAP knowledge
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
