Job summary
Perform inspection, testing and failure analysis to determine cause of defective electronic assemblies.Rework products per company and industry standards.
Build test harnesses loads fixtures and/or circuit boards to support product design as required Document and maintain records relating to work performed Inform supervisor and engineering of process or design problems assist in corrective actions Conduct manual test of electronic circuits PCBs according to engineering instructions Communicate with both internal external customers in a professional effective manner Create update test documentation when required for prototype products Design build advanced engineering test boxes Perform other associated tasks as required by their supervisor engineers Train other personnel as required
- Experience troubleshooting PCB subassembly failure modes identify root cause.
- Understanding manufacturing processes electronic components.
- Understanding test equipment methods multimeters oscilloscopes etc.
