Airport Maintenance Specialist I/II

This is an opportunity to serve in various roles within the airport commission performing tasks such as maintenance of grounds facilities water distribution systems airport fleet services business park.

• Independently performs routine semi-skilled skilled tasks under supervision completing maintenance duties painting light plumbing cleaning shop equipment areas building fencing fixing preventative maintenance on plant equipment assists skilled workers in functional areas.
• Performs facility grounds maintenance using powered equipment vehicles tools small large tools operates tractors trucks dump trucks water trucks mini excavator skid steer loader backhoe power broom snow removal equipment pre-trip inspections completes commercial mowing snow removal applies chemicals spreads fertilizers herbicides soil amendments aerates seeds landscaping trims prunes shrubs trees repairs soil erosion collects trash recycling office areas disposes accordingly pavement patching crack sealing works trains two operational areas airfield operations facility operations railroad supporting staff water wastewater system fleet services coordinator daily safety inspection checks movement areas coordinates resolution problems supervisor performs repairs airfield lighting pavement t-hangars Control Tower Supervisor pavement issues aircraft operations provides customer service coordinates contractors general general information repair project work.
