    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team in our Dental, Medical and/or Behavioral Health departments.

    The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience from the moment they enter our facility.

    As a Medical Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately registering patients, verifying insurance information, and assisting with any administrative tasks related to patient intake.


    General job dutiesPatient Registration:
    Greet and assist patients in a courteous and welcoming manner during the registration process. Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately.


    Insurance Verification:
    Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility. Explain insurance benefits, co-pays, and deductible responsibilities to patients as needed.


    Appointment Scheduling:
    Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures as requested by medical staff, ensuring that schedules are optimized for efficient patient flow


    Financial Counseling:
    Provide patients with information about financial assistance programs and payment options, assisting them in understanding their financial responsibilities


    Communication:
    Maintain effective communication with patients, medical staff, and other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience


    Data Entry:
    Accurately input patient information into electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient files


    Customer Service:
    Address patient inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. Third Street is an equal opportunity employer.
