Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Department Overview
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is part of the Lyles College of Engineering at California State University, Fresno. The department's mission is to provide quality education in Electrical and Computer Engineering to a diverse group of students in the region and state. They offer accredited BS degree programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, as well as an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. These programs focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through hands-on labs.
Position Summary
The prospective candidate will be responsible for teaching core ECE courses and labs, with a focus on areas such as electric circuits, electronics, communications, and energy systems.
We are looking for individuals qualified to teach courses and labs.
Instructor Responsibility
Temporary faculty members need to comply with university policies and guidelines as outlined in the Academic Policy Manual. They will be responsible for course preparation, delivery, assessment, and conducting exams. Classes should be held as scheduled, following the designated mode of instruction.
Conditional Appointment
Appointment is subject to budget and enrollment considerations, following the collective bargaining agreement between California State University and California Faculty Association. Appointees must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
