    The new hire will be part of the U.S. Personal Banking Chief of Staff Office directly supporting the Head of U.S. Personal Banking. The team is responsible for strategic and administrative activities of the business, including business planning, operating routines, business management, and a number of special topics

    Responsibilities of the Business Associate:

    • Business Planning:
    • Support meeting and document preparation for CEO business reviews, regulatory meetings, on/offsites, and ad hoc internal and external meetings
    • Support strategy development and communication
    • Participate, facilitate, and influence strategic planning activities (e.g., Operating Plan)
    • Identify business opportunities through research and analysis
    • Operating Routines: manage Office of the CEO routines/regularly occurring meetings (e.g., Leadership Team meetings, Monthly Operating Reviews, etc.), ensuring there is clear agenda and objective setting, coordinating materials, and tracking follow-ups.
    • Business Management:
    • Partner closely with the Office of the CEO and other EMT Chief of Staff Offices
    • Coordinate requests from other senior and work collaboratively with their offices on meeting agendas, requests, and follow-ups
    • Partner with Public Affairs on internal communications and speaking engagement (e.g., Town Halls, organizational announcements, newsletters)
    • Partner with Finance and HR on driving critical priorities and routine business management processes
    • Track follow-ups and take meeting minutes when needed
    • Special Topics:
    • Champion VOE participation and centrally drive VOE response initiatives on behalf of CEO
    • Design and facilitate employee panels for specific focus areas for the CEO
    • Drive the planning process for employee recognition events at a large scale
    • Advance organization / people strategy goals including talent strategy and employee engagement initiatives
    • Drive productivity and cost savings initiatives in partnership with the senior management team
    • Prepare Head of U.S. Personal Banking for external meetings
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    • 6-10 years of experience in the financial services industry, in a product, finance / FP&A, strategy, or capital markets role
    • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of consumer cards and lending and retail banking P&L components and key drivers
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strategic thinker with a business mindset and knowledge of the financial services industry
    • Experience in developing executive level "CEO ready" presentations and analyzing data with limited oversight
    • Tenacity to learn, grow, and be challenged in an exciting, and extremely fast paced, environment supporting the Head of U.S. Personal Banking
    • Highly organized and reliable

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
