Olelo Community Media is O'ahu's nonprofit Public, Education, and Government (PEG) access provider, created to empower community voices.

The specific and primary purpose of Olelo is to promote the creation, production, and cable casting of programs by, for, and to Hawai'i.

Such programs will preserve, develop, and enhance Hawai'i's diversity of thought, culture, and heritage. Through these activities, Olelo will facilitate lifelong learning and the community's participation in the democratic process.

Olelo is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the main office in Mapunapuna.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for overseeing Olelo's Human Resources functions, planning, administering, coordinating, and implementing HR services and policies.

The Generalist of Human Resources is responsible for Olelo's Human Resources function and plans, administers, coordinates, and implements HR services and policies.

The position reports to the Director of Finance and Risk Management and serves on the management team; and assists and advises company managers and leaders on all HR policies, practices, processes, and initiatives, including leadership and employee training, development, and performance.

The generalist will coordinate with Oleloʻs HR support services provider to administer HR-related responsibilities.
