Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that materials are stored, transported, and delivered according to company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing lists and purchase orders.
Organize and maintain inventory of materials in designated storage areas.
Prepare materials for production by picking, packing, and staging items according to production schedules.
Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, or containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
Transport materials to and from production areas, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas.
Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Assist with other duties as needed, including packaging, labeling, and assembly tasks.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 75 pounds or more.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 75 pounds or more.
Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
