    ProKatchers is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Hobbs, New Mexico.

    Job Description & Requirements

    Shift:

    Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)

    Work Experience:

    • Review and verify medication orders — checks physician orders for appropriateness, correct dosages, potential interactions, allergies, and safety before preparing or dispensing medications for hospitalized patients.

    • Prepare and dispense medications — accurately prepare, compound (when needed), and dispense oral, injectable, and other formulations to patient care areas while ensuring proper storage and handling.

    • Monitor therapy and collaborate with healthcare teams — assess patients' medication therapies for effectiveness and safety, communicate with physicians/nurses, participate in clinical rounds, and help optimize treatment plans.

    • Provide drug information and patient/pharmacy education

    License:

    IV Certification, RPh

    Certifications:

    BLS/CPR Certification.
