Are you ready to be part of a team that tackles some of the world's toughest technical challenges? GDIT is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer to join us in supporting the Air Force's ISR mission at Langley AFB, VA. As an ISSO, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the security of the Air Forces' Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) services on a global scale.

Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Responsibilities:

Validate configuration changes of firewall, switch, and router modifications on an ongoing basis
Ensure proper protection of the DPA, DCGS Enterprise, and Information Systems (ISs)
Monitor systems and their environments, updating security plans, managing changes, and assessing security impacts
Attend necessary technical and security training sessions
Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with security authorization requirements
Maintain security authorizations, conduct security inspections, and coordinate system accreditations
Develop and implement security education programs and provide input for security documentation
Oversee account authorization and management
Be accountable for the security certification of systems on a daily basis

KSA Requirements:

Clearance: TS/SCI
Minimum of 4 years' IA experience
Must hold IAT Level II Security + Certification
Working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical safeguards, and operational security measures

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. Salary will be determined based on experience, location, and contractual requirements. Learn more about our benefits and rewards program.
