    Elite care Health Services is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team. The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

    The ideal candidate will display compassion, education, proficiency and experience while assisting the patient. This critical role assists in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

    Responsibilities:

    Completes an initial assessment of patient and family to determine home care needs when applicable.

    • Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es).
    • Regularly re-evaluates patient nursing needs
    • Initiates the plan of care when directed and makes necessary revisions as patient status
    • Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis
    • Establishes goals based on nursing diagnosis and incorporated therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions, includes the patient and the family in the planning process.
    • Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
    • Provides healthcare instructions to the patient as appropriated per assessment and plan of care
    • Identifies discharge planning needs when applicable
    • Adheres to agency policy and procedure
    • Attends case conferences, team meeting, education, in-services as required
      • Supervises skilled nursing services provided
    Requirements:
    • Current licensed Registered Nurse
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
    • Successful complete screening for the clinical specialty area with a score of 80% or greater
    • One-year prior professional nursing experience, home care experience preferred
    • Current CPR
    • PPD or chest x-ray, if applicable
    • Participation and completion of agency Competency Program
    Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Per diem

    Pay: $ $60.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
