JOB DESCRIPTION

206 licensed beds pediatric hospital. Level I trauma center. Only pediatric ER in the regional area and serves more than 50,000 children annually.

Prior pediatric experience is a must.. All candidates must be available for flexible, rotating shifts that include every other weekend, totaling 36 hours minimum.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience

Registered Nurse license in New York State.
Two years of current PICU and CVPICU experience.
Two years of RN pediatric experience
Two years of experience - general respiratory, neuro surgery, cardiac care
Epic EMR two years of experience

License/Registration/Certification

Active unencumbered New York RN License
ACLS/BLS - American Heart Association
PALS - American Heart Association

Education and Training

Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
