Client Summary: Our client's medical and support staff is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the patients, residents and visitors they serve. With an experienced Medical Staff of 60 physicians, board certified in 25 specialists, they are able to provide an interdisciplinary approach that serves patients where they need them, when they need them.

Job Description: Ultrasound Technologist/Tech - Vascular

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled ultrasound technician to be responsible for operating sonographic scanners to capture images of patients' internal organs and expectant mothers' developing fetuses. The ultrasound technician may specialize or work in a broad array of specialties including obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds, and neurological, breast, heart, or abdominal sonography. You may also assist radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedure and ultrasound-guided biopsies.

To be a successful ultrasound technician, you should have excellent patient service and technical skills, as well as a strong working knowledge of anatomy and pathology. You should have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.

Submission Requirements:

2+ years of current Ultrasound Tech /Vascular experience - Required
Previous travel experience - Preferred
MediTech experience - Preferred

Certifications/Licenses:

ARDMS
BLS (AHA)

Facility Information:

EMR: MediTech
Equipment: Client Logiq E9
Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs
Patient Load/day: 5-12 depending upon shift working
Patient Population: Proficient in Newborn to Geriatric

Schedule Notes: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

13 weeks.
Weekend Requirements: None / Holiday rotation as needed
On Call Requirements: None
