The project engineer of new construction is responsible for providing support and construction oversight of vessels currently under construction as well as major modifications of exciting vessels currently in the fleet and equipment projects.
The project engineer of new construction will assist naval architects, shipyards, and the engineering department with design specifications and drawings.
The project engineer of new construction (owners' representative) will be accountable for the effective achievement of performance, quality control, cost containment, establishing goals for assigned projects, and working with all associated stakeholders including but not limited to company personnel, shipyards, vendors, and customers.
The project engineer of new construction will be involved in the analysis of problems solving to include complex technical problems and communication.
Since 1934, G&H Towing has provided harbor ship escorts, docking, and undocking, in the ports of Galveston, Houston, Texas City, Corpus Christi, and Freeport, Texas on behalf of tanker, bulk, and container customers.
