Sets up and operates both automatic and manual assembly lines assembles parts to specifications by performing the following duties satisfies SA's Quality goals and objectives in completion of activities or duties. Maintains a safe work area works in a safe manner reports any unsafe conditions to Team Leader immediately completes hourly checks using In Process Check Sheets ensures parts meet Quality Specifications notifies Team Leader of any suspect material helps to contain material line side complete changeovers attaches fixtures jigs to table positions according to changeover procedure fills in Changeover checklist observes listens to machine operation detects malfunctions removes material from boxes places on conveyor moves parts from machine machine process completed completes standardized work inspects parts for conformance uses In Process Sheets visual checks gaging notifies Team Leader abnormal unusual condition submits kaizen suggestions for improvementsJob description
