Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the Environmental Division of NAVFAC NORTHWESTDuties
This requirement is called time-in-grade
Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)
Applies environmental laws, regulations, policies and procedures including:
Environmental Management Systems (EMS), environmental compliance programs related to facilities sustainment and military readiness (such as but not limited to hazardous waste, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act), environmental pollution prevention and sustainability methods and emerging technologies; 2) Applies advanced engineering and scientific concepts, principles and technologies utilized in professional engineering and/or sciences related to environmental sustainability, environmental management systems and shore environmental compliance with a focus on facilities management and operational readiness; 3) Utilizes environmental regulations, policies, management systems and sustainability relative to facilities and operational readiness; 4) Plans, schedules, and budgets for environmental service waste training to meet needs; and 5) Determines training objectives; develops/manages development of lesson plans, student guides and other training materials
