    Personal Banker II Floater


    JOB SUMMARY:


    The Personal Banker II Floater position is position responsible for consistently exhibiting and communicating an excellent first impression to all customers and guests of the bank as the primary point of contact.

    Develops strong customer relationships while ascertaining customers' needs, handling customer transactions, service and maintenance on new and existing accounts with a high degree of accuracy and knowledge of all Gateway First Bank deposit and lending products, and services.

    Personal Banker II Floater ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):


    • Responds to branch staffing needs by providing service at any branch necessary.
    • Exercises the highest level of customer service when meeting customers and potential customer's needs and assisting all patrons of the bank in order to leave a positive impact with each encounter.
    • Greets customers and facilitates a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
    • Builds and maintains relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their personal and business needs.
    • Assists customers' accounts with selection of all financial services including online banking, BillPay, E-statements, mobile and ATM deposit capabilities.
    • Processes customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
    • Balances and settles cash drawer in conjunction with proofing transactions.
    • Responds and resolves customer issues and inquiries in branch and via telephone.
    • Ensures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, state and federal banking regulations, internal security procedures and policies, and universal banking laws and regulations.
    • Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
    • Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
    • Thorough knowledge of retail banking policies, procedures, and practices.
    • Self-motivated and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to remain friendly, outgoing, confident, assertive and enthusiastic in fast paced environment.

    Equivalent Education/Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 2-4 years of banking experience.
    • Prefer sales and operational experience.
