The facility at Ghent, KY conducts maintenance and reconditioning of conventional and advanced slab casting equipment for Nucor Gallatin. We offer engineering services, in-plant laser measurement services, plant millwright services, mechanical machining, fabrication, and welding services.

We seek a 1st shift Nickel Plating position at our Ghent facility.

• A valid driver license
• Mechanical electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform all necessary tasks associated with electroplating operations:

's: Adheres to established procedures approved processes quality standards performs hand-finishing surface preparation pre-treatment parts plating requirements Conducts scheduled unscheduled maintenance plating baths tanks pumps filters processing equipment maintains accurate records activities Monitors critical chemical levels ensures proper use handling storage disposal chemicals safety environmental standards Follows PPE strict times safe working environment May required work mandatory overtime production needs Exhibits ability work independently demonstrates strong initiative completing tasks identifying improvements'
