LPN - Urology

This is a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse position for the Urology department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.

The LPN will provide direct patient care under the direction of an attending physician, RN or Lead LPN. They will obtain and accurately record patient's vital signs, document components of patient's history, communicate in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors and staff, participate in in-office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provider, perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing, perform venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing and call back prescriptions according to scope of practice.
