    Description

    Objective of Job

    Ensure that the maintenace department runs smoothly and under budget. Also, manage both technical and disciplinary reports to develop a strong functional team.


    Principal Activities

    • Support the strategic planning of the Maintenance department by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the group, within a short or medium-range time frame
    • Plan and administer the budget in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, and make sure there is compliance with it. including maintenance repair
    • Cooperate in personnel planning within his/her area of responsibility in cooperation with the supervisor; employ qualified personnel
    • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to him/her; make personnel decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor
    • Break down and prioritize group goals for associates
    • Ensures minimum equipment downtime for production by developing a TPM plan
    • Ensures proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) is completed for production to have the maximum equipment uptime possible
    • Works with Engineering group for equipment install or relocation within local sites
    • Organizes repair of production material handling hardware
    • Manages stock room in all aspects (inventory, cost, etc)
    • Ensures that all requirement for IATF16949 are being met for maintenance functions
    • Monitors Maintenance personal to ensure that all safety regulations are being followed
    • Works with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) to improve safety procedures and in plant environment

    Job Requirements

    • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Business Mgt or work equivalency in a related field
    • Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Industrial Safety, and PLC experience for 3-5 years
    • Experienced in MS Office, SAP, and Auto CAD
    • Strong leadership ability
    • Experienced skills in problem solving and analytical thinking
