    Real Talk Group, a leading talent acquisition consultancy, is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager position in San Leandro, CA. We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage a complex project, ensuring compliance with project contracts, owner agreements, and industry standards.

    Senior Project Manager Location: San Leandro, CA

    Overview: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a single assigned project, including construction, budget management, and schedule compliance. This role requires exceptional leadership and organizational skills to meet owner needs and ensure project success.

    What you will be doing:

    • Manage all project elements, including construction, budget, and cash management, to ensure adherence to project contracts and owner requirements.
    • Develop and manage the project schedule, pay estimates, project procedures, and equipment resources to achieve accurate and timely project production.
    • Create and manage the project organizational chart, assigning staffing responsibilities for each phase of production to ensure project objectives are met on time.
    • Provide technical expertise during project pursuits and participate in bid interviews when necessary. Address specification, contract, and scheduling issues with the owner to ensure project alignment.
    • Proactively engage with project stakeholders, including managing partners, local landowners, business owners, and regulatory bodies, to foster positive relationships and drive project success.
    • Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
    • Coordinate with the construction management team to identify project risks and negotiate change orders with the owner, ensuring efficient project production.
    • Present monthly project reports to the company Executive leadership.
    • Support and promote project safety by enforcing compliance with the project safety program, clients safety procedures, and owner safety policies. Review weekly safety reports and participate in monthly safety review meetings with project personnel.
    • Review and approve staffing and equipment needs for optimal project production.
    • Negotiate dispute resolutions with the project owner, involving internal legal counsel when necessary.
    • Provide input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to optimize project production.
    • Lead project closeout procedures, finalize contract paperwork, obtain retainages, and work with management to resolve any project claims. Conduct a project debrief cycle to review all aspects of project work and completion.
    • Maintain knowledge of the company values and strategic plan.
    What we are looking for:
    • 15+ years of experience in construction project management.
    • 10+ years of experience in managing personnel.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus.
    • Proven experience in bid-build, CMCG, design-build, and other alternative delivery projects.
    • Experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent on at least three completed industrial and/or municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects (one with a final contract value exceeding $50 million) between July 1, 2005, and the time of application.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Must be fully vaccinated or willing to become fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious accommodation by the date of hire.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
    • Exceptional skill in identifying, tracking, and managing project risks.
    • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple departments and direct reports to maintain focus on project completion goals and timelines.
    • Ability to identify growth opportunities for project personnel and provide coaching and mentoring.
    • Strong delegation skills to assign task-driven responsibilities to project personnel.
    • Knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret financial documentation to identify and mitigate project risks.
    • Advanced interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts.
    • Effective negotiation skills to ensure project work, budget, and fund recovery align with project goals.
    • Strong internal branding and sales knowledge to promote yourself and the Company brand.

    Salary:
    • Minimum: USD $185,000.00 per year.
    • Maximum: USD $210,000.00 per year.
    • Vehicle Program: Company Vehicle.
