Labor One Staffing is seeking skilled Outside Machinists in San Diego to install, maintain and repair complex propulsion and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test and repair ship's propulsion and auxiliary systems, including Steam, Turbine, Electrical and Diesel propulsion systems.
• Maintain and repair fluid systems, pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators and valves.
• Test equipment to ensure systems meet specifications.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education.
• Minimum three years of experience in a related field or graduate of a Diesel or Aircraft Mechanic training school.
• Navy ratings: MM (BT), AD, CM, EN, GS, HT, or MR.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions, mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Proficient in use of precision measurement tools and shop mathematic skills.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Estimated Salary: $75,000 per year.
