A renowned medical center located in New Jersey is currently seeking Nurse Practitioners for their Oncology unit in their location in Teaneck, NJ.

You will be tasked with providing compassionate, quality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy infusion, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing and implementing plans of care.

The base pay range for this position is $65 to $75 per hour.

The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

*Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients scheduled for chemotherapy infusion.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the oncology team.
• Administer chemotherapy medications and manage infusion-related side effects.
• Monitor patients during infusion sessions and provide necessary interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about chemotherapy treatments, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

*Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of NJ
• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution (preferred)
• Past experience as an oncology NP required
