Our unit, located at the bustling CVPH Health Plaza in Plattsburgh, New York, stands out as a symbol of excellence in renal nursing. With the capacity to cater to 114 patients in our main unit in Plattsburgh and our satellite facility in Elizabethtown, teamwork and energy are at the forefront.

This Registered Nurse role does not involve on-call responsibilities, operates Monday-Saturday (with alternate Saturdays off), and is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Upon completion of the dialysis program, the hemodialysis RN will be able to initiate, monitor, discontinue, disassemble, and maintain dialysis equipment. They assess, plan, implement, and assess treatment plans and are prepared to handle emergent situations effectively. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key. Prior Dialysis experience is not mandatory but would significantly boost your potential growth speed.

Education/Skills Required:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Preferably, prior hemodialysis and critical care experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Flexibility and eagerness to acquire new skills.
Successful completion of the orientation program.
Completion of CVPH Cardiac Arrhythmia Recognition Class within one year.
Fulfillment of physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
