- Promote and support highest level of safety, both personally and with others, throughout daily activities.

- Develop and lead improvement programs around quality and process capability

The Process Engineer is responsible for the continuous improvement of asset productivity and quality through improved process control and capability.
Leads efforts to troubleshoot quality, material and process problems and drives improved process control through SOP, material, FMEA, equipment and skill development.
Qualifications
_ BS Degree in Engineering field, preferred; Minimum of 3 years in process engineering or related field preferred with experience in extrusion or textiles preferred.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred._ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. High attention to detail through observation of facts and interpretation of data/_ Requires prolonged sitting or stand and frequent bending, stooping and stretching; manual dexterity; frequent lifting and carrying 10 pounds; occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
Must understand the basic fundamentals of plastic product machinery and the process behind the mechanics. Must be familiar with the use of office equipment, such as a computer, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine. Work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment.
