Temp To Hire
We are looking for 1st shift Washdown Sanitation workers in the Bedford Park area. Schedule Mon – Fri 6:30am – 3:30am.
Washdown Sanitation Tech Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) while cleaning.
- Perform tasks associated with washdown sanitation- to include scrub, scrape, foam and wash product line equipment to perfect sanitary condition.
- Break down production equipment necessary for effective sanitation.
- Keep production area clean and free of debris.
- Report and resolve sanitation safety issue. i.e. spills.
- Be aware of your surroundings and floors may be slippery.
- Follow sanitation dress code standard and maintains good personal hygiene.
- Follow sanitation standard operating procedures.
- Perform assignments in accordance with established cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) policies and procedures.
- Preform schedule tasks on the master sanitation schedule.
- Ale to learn how to clean and sanitize production equipment.
- Sweep, mop, clean and sanitize floors as needed.
- Able to learn to operate floor scrubbing equipment and pressure washers.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions for the sanitation department.
- Perform all work assignments for positions in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
- Demonstrate good verbal communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to complete documentation for batch records.
- Ability to apply basic concepts of addition, subtraction, and multiplication to the batch process.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is preferred
- 2–5-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
