Pay rate: $27.50/hr - $35/hr

Working schedule: Mon, Wed, and Fri

Currently looking for a Part-Time outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

We need a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant who will be a reliable partner in the process of restoring mobility and helping patients reach their peak performance. Your mission will be to enhance the quality of life and movement abilities in different areas, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being.

Join our team consisting of two physical therapists and four PTAs, as we aim to provide outstanding care and put our patients' wellness first. Our focus is mainly on individuals with medicare and private medical insurance, and we operate from an advanced sports medicine facility.

We welcome both newly licensed Physical Therapist Assistants and experienced PTAs to join us!

Under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, PTAs administer exercise guidelines, utilize therapeutic techniques like electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, ultrasound, and conduct gait and balance training.

Responsibilities:

The chosen individual will deliver physical therapy services to patients under a physical therapist's direction and supervision.
This involves aiding in patient evaluations, designing treatment plans, executing therapeutic measures, and offering patient education.
The perfect candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a passion for aiding others, and a commitment to delivering top-notch care.
Support physical therapists in patient treatment.
Guide patients through exercises and daily living activities.
Support in executing physical therapy treatment plans.
Maintain patient records and track progress.
Offer assistance to physical therapists during patient assessments.
Provide patients with education on proper body mechanics and home exercise regimens.
Participate in applying therapeutic modalities.

Experience:

Completion of an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Skills:

Effective interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Capacity to deliver empathetic care while upholding professional boundaries.
Strong problem-solving skills to address patients' requirements and obstacles during therapy sessions.
Proficiency in safely and effectively operating therapeutic equipment and modalities.
