• Support the installation, configuration, and operation of a Linux landscape in an AWS cloud environment

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

Implement security measures to protect Linux systems from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.

• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Linux systems with existing infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Responsibilities include OS installation and configuration, OS provisioning of application administrators and service users, performing STIGs, and creating scripts to support application functionality or other purposes

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms
