Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have an active role in the following:Executes the structural engineering tasks assigned or as otherwise directed under general supervision.

Performs structural CA tasks assigned by senior engineering staff including submittal review and response to project RFIs.
Assisting in the preparation of construction drawings, contract documents, and structural calculations.

Maintains active awareness of the production schedule for responsible task(s).Ability to apply building code provisions and interpret material design standards.

Writing technical studies and reports.

Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, coordination with other disciplines and technical issues as well as attending client meetings and discussions.

The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skills on a variety of projects involving commercial, industrial, public improvements, utilities, and residential.

Performs work in a manner that demonstrates an awareness of and an appreciation for the companys cultural values, including a commitment to quality, innovation, learning and growth.

Qualifications:
QualificationsThe successful candidate shall possess a B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited degree program.
Have already passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

The candidate must also be committed to eventually becoming a licensed professional engineer (PE).Have 0 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Possess the ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions with other staff members in a team setting.
Experience with AutoCAD Architecture or Revit is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred.
Ability to learn structural analytical software (e.g., RISA 3D, EnerCalc).Additional InformationThis is a full-time, salaried position.
