HR Business Partner
Location:
Plano, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Rate:
$45–$50/hr on W-2 (No C2C)
Duration:
3-Month Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
HR Business Partner
to provide interim support to Digital & Technology functions. This role will partner directly with mid-level and senior leadership, serving as both a day-to-day HR resource and a strategic advisor. The ideal candidate will help drive effective people practices aligned with business priorities while operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
This position requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to influence leaders through practical, data-informed solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to mid-level and senior leaders.
- Translate business objectives into actionable people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify organizational risks, talent gaps, and workforce needs; provide thoughtful recommendations and options.
- Support leaders through organizational change initiatives while reinforcing accountability and culture.
2. Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide consultation on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
- Coach leaders on performance management, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and employee development.
- Partner cross-functionally to manage sensitive or escalated employee matters.
3. Talent & Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring strategies.
- Support requisition alignment, interview coordination, and onboarding transitions.
- Assist leaders in identifying capability needs and closing talent gaps.
4. HR Operations & Administrative Support
- Provide guidance on policies, employee lifecycle events, and documentation.
- Support performance cycles, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure timely follow-through on action items.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including strong HR Business Partner experience.
- Demonstrated success partnering with mid-level and senior leadership teams.
- Experience supporting employee relations and performance management in complex environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence leaders using data and insight.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Digital, Technology, or Corporate functions.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning and talent strategy.
- Experience working in hybrid or enterprise environments.
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule – 3 days onsite in Plano, TX.
