    We are seeking a dedicated Claim Clerk to join our team at our Jackson, MS branch.

    This in-office position operates during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, adhering to a 37.5-hour workdays.

    As an hourly role, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to our adjusters.
    This position offers significant growth opportunities for individuals aiming for a long-term career in insurance claims.

    The primary responsibilities of the Claim Clerk include performing general clerical duties for our claim personnel and other assigned team members.

    Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of claim service as perceived by CCMSI clients and in alignment with Corporate Claim Standards.

    Match mail for assigned accounts.
    File claim mail and related documents.
    Set up designated claim files and complete all set up instructions, as requested.

    Summarize correspondence and medical records in the claim log notes as wells as file it in the appropriate claim, as directed by claim staff.

    Maintain claim files in storage.
    Photocopy claim documents, as needed.
    Provide support to claim staff on client specific teams.
    Initiative to set and achieve performance goals.
    Knowledge of all lower level claim position responsibilities.
    Flexibility, accuracy, initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
    Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.
    Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.
    Computer Skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
