- Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited university in engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Familiarity with ISA standards.
- Experience in developing I&C deliverables.
- EIT or Professional Engineering License.
- Proficiency in SmartPlant Instrumentation, Revit, AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience in engineering construction support, startup, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as NQA-1.

Our talented Instrumentation and Control engineering team consists of licensed professionals who specialize in nuclear waste treatment, radioactive waste cleanup, environmental management, and advanced clean energy solutions. Amentum offers a wide range of project lifecycle services, operational excellence, consulting, and engineered solutions by industry-leading experts.
As an I&C Engineer at Amentum, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed projects. We seek individuals with a strong background in working with advanced technologies and collaborating effectively with peers. Your responsibilities will include generating and reviewing various I&C deliverables, such as P&ID's, control narratives, loop drawings, and more.
