- Effectively align with stakeholders to meet expectations and business needs (including budget, schedule, scope, quality, safety, documentation, communication, etc.)
- Establish and lead effective cross functional project teams.
- Create aggressive yet achievable project execution plans.
- Lead and manage external engineering partners to deliver on project design and system performance.
- Predictive and proactive actions to project risks including mitigation plans, communication, continuous monitoring, etc.
- Effectively manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure project portfolio success.
- Ensure that capital projects are planned and executed according to the project model.
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or strongly related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience minimum in Project Management working directly with external engineering firms, contractors, and vendors
- A minimum of 3 years of experience minimum managing a broad base of project activities including design, procurement, project scheduling, controlling budgets, knowledge of fabrication, construction, and commissioning
- Knowledge and understanding of capital project management processes.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams and collaborate locally and globally.
- Strong organizational skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong technical skills, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated to pursue initiatives and able to prioritize tasks and time is critical.
- Occasional travel may be required and is dependent on the region's approved investment portfolio.
