    Our Fidelity / Crime Division stands out as one of the largest monoline crime insurers in North America, catering to private and public businesses, financial institutions, and governmental entities. Besides, Fidelity / Crime provides specialized products and programs for various sectors.

    Currently, we are in search of a renewal underwriter in Texas or a neighboring state to work remotely.

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

    • Has responsibility for low to moderately complex risk selection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability within the defined scope of authority.
    • Develops and maintains effective business relationships with internal and external customers/coworkers.
    • Visits producers and principals to retain existing accounts and develop new opportunities.
    • Interacts, explains, and markets products and services.
    • Applies underwriting rules, guidelines, and insurance regulations.
    • Provides guidance and assistance to less experienced associates.
    • May be responsible for coaching staff and participating in talent selection and development.
    • Performs other assigned duties.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Experience of 4 to 6 years in a related role; Underwriters with multi-line experience and some fidelity/ crime background are encouraged to apply.
    • High organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in PC programs and Microsoft Office.
    • Openness to day and overnight travel up to 25% of the time.

    Salary Range:

    $55,000 - $70,000
