    Position Summary

    Serve food and beverages to guests in dining area while maintaining a clean dining environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Include, but are not limited to:

    • Deliver orders to guests for food/beverages.
    • Checks with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and if there is anything further they need.
    • Informs guests of any daily specials.
    • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, tea, tableware, napkins, etc. after leaving your shift.
    • Maintains a clean and sanitary dining area.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    The employee is frequently exposed to second hand tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. You may have to work in a fast paced environment and with high volumes of customers at times.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with arms and hands. Must have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

    Education / Training / Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience.
    • Prior experience preferred, but not necessary.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
    • Must attend and pass TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures).
    • Ability to communicate with Team members and guests.
