    We are seeking an energetic MA with some Dermatology experience preferred. As an Aesthetic Medical Assistant, you will contribute to the patient experience from start to finish. This role commands multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Your role will be to help with the patient flow during the day, communicate instructions to patients and aid Providers in daily tasks..     Summary:
    We are currently seeking a motivated, passionate and service-oriented Aesthetician/MA to join our team in the Plano area. Full -time and Part-time positions are available. Ideal candidates will be proficient with the following:
    • Accompany patient/Spa client to exam/procedure room.
    • Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
    • Check the schedule and organize patient flow.
    • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
    • Ensure that all treatment rooms are cleaned and stocked at the end of the workday.
    • Assist providers in preparing the patient and the facilities for procedures.
    • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments and procedures.
    • Assist with scheduling of patient's tests and treatments.

    Candidates must have:
    • Expert proficiency in Electronic Medical Records
    • Phlebotomy experience (IV experience preferred)
    • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, peers, and management. Ability to communicate with proper etiquette.
    • Education/ Experience: Certified medical assistant, with esthetics background.
    • Reasoning Ability: Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to patients and remaining flexible to the needs of the business and providers. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to follow up on leads, schedule consultations, obtain patient consent for treatment and time management skills.
    • Other Skills: Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service. Must be reliable and outgoing, detail-oriented problem solver with exceptional customer service skills. Will exhibit high attention to detail. Must be punctual and able to prioritize and multitask.
    • Med Spa/Dermatology experience is preferred
    • Professional in appearance and mannerisms
    • Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients and co-workers alike.

    General Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
    • Be able to fulfill responsibilities as assigned by providers and management.
    • Be able to assist the physician/NP.
    • Help with patient scheduling & answer phone calls during normal business hours.
    • Patient Intake: Room patient and prepare for exam an/or esthetic services.
    • Use EMR to enter medical histories and prescriptions.
    • Assist & perform patient treatments/labs/services within the scope of Pediatrics and Wellness Spa.
    • Comfortably prepare and collect the lab specimens and notify patients of results
    • Help with new patient scheduling and follow up appointments.
    • Clean and organize exam rooms and stock supplies.
    • Be able to participate in training and comply with policies and procedures.
    • IV and phlebotomy skills preferred
    • General lab skills ie UAs, Strep and Flu screens
    • Weekend hours-variable and prescheduled
