    Were looking for a Sourcing Manager to develop world class supply chain practices, manage our growing supplier base, and implement commercial and pricing strategies.

    What Youll DoDevelop commodity and category sourcing strategies to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting Lambdas current and future technical and business requirementsMaintain knowledge of technology and industry trends.

    Perform competitive analysis on relevant AI, storage, and networking technologiesEstablish the supplier selection process, evaluate alternate suppliers, drive the RFI/RFQ/RFP process, and drive final business awardsProvide technical and commercial expertise to engineering teams to improve the TCO and qualityNegotiate with suppliers and partners to establish best in class pricing, quality, delivery, payment, and service terms.

    Develop benchmarks and should cost modelsBuild an end to end ODM strategy to support Lambdas growing cloud hardware scaleEstablish and manage strategic supplier and commercial relationships with our key partners at the executive level.

    Influence suppliers business models, roadmaps, and support modelsDevelop a supplier management framework, including QBRs, scorecards, and supplier performance (SLAs)YouHave a bachelor's degree in a related technical or business disciplineHave 10+ years of supply chain experience in data center, cloud, compute, networking, and/or AI hardwareHave direct experience managing OEMs, ODMs, and JDM suppliers and communicating with senior leadershipUnderstand the manufacturing process for compute, storage, network, and/or AI hardwarePossess in depth knowledge of commodity and ODM cost structures, modeling, and negotiation strategiesAre experienced in structuring, negotiating, and executing contracts (MSAs, MPAs, and SOWs) and complex agreementsAre proficient with ERP, MRP, PLM, and other common supply chain softwareDemonstrate sound interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting strategic decisions to the executive teamNice to HaveMS or PhD in a related technical field, or an MBAStrong financial acumen, being able to analyze income, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsExperience leading cross functional teams to debate cost/benefit tradeoffs, drive alignment, and make data driven decisions related to critical partnerships and projectsAbout LambdaWe offer generous cash & equity compensationInvestors include Gradient Ventures, Googles AI-focused venture fundWe are experiencing extremely high demand for our systems, with quarter over quarter, year over year profitabilityOur research papers have been accepted into top machine learning and graphics conferences, including NeurIPS, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, and TOGWe have a wildly talented team of 250, and growing fastHealth, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependentsCommuter/Work from home stipends401k Plan with 2% company matchFlexible Paid Time Off Plan that we all actually useSalary Range InformationBased on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $150,000-$220,000.
