    American Workforce Group has partnered with a local company in Longview WA, that strives for excellent welders.

    If you're a motivated, qualified individual we want you

    Description for Welder/Fitter:

    Capable of fitting and welding complex assemblies without supervision

    • Able to read drawings and weld symbols
    • Knowledgeable in the operations of company welding equipment, electrodes and wires
    • Fabricate fixtures required to complete jobs in a timely manner
    • Clean and grind own welds, burn, back scarf, preheat and post-cool as required

    Details for Welder/Fitter

    • Day Shift
    • 7am-3:30pm
    • $20 to $24 an hour DOE.
    • Monday - Friday some Saturdays.

    Requirements for Welder/Fitter

    • Ability to fit parts using a fixture.
    • Read and interpret welding symbols on shop prints
    • Stand, stoop, bend, pull
    • Some background restrictions may apply
    • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
    • -1 year experience of hand rail welding experience.

    Physical Requirements for Welder/Fitter

    • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
    • Ability to pass drug test
