    SOSi is actively seeking a Site Operations Manager to support our customer's mission to provide facilities, care, and services at Overflow Emergency Overnight Shelter site(s) in Massachusetts.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Support the Program Director and Site Operations Supervisors by overseeing scheduling, site staffing, transportation, and overall site(s) operations.
    • Provide leadership for the integration of all program components of the shelter: case management and advocacy for guests, education & training programs, and follow-up stabilization services to meet family's needs.
    • Ensure proper protocols are in place for mandated reporting of child abuse and neglect to the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
    • Act as the designated Shelter Guest Rights Officer, developing and overseeing the implementation of a statement of Shelter Guest Rights.
    • In collaboration with the Project Management Office, oversee compliance with file storage procedures to ensure information security.
    • Support Operations Supervisors in completing all required reports in a timely fashion.
    • Collaborate with the Program Director, Site Operations Supervisor(s), and Community Resource Manager(s) to maintain systems of referral, screening, and approvals for guests.
    • Work with the Program Director to establish Continuum of Care regional or state task force meetings to facilitate resource distribution and maximize coordination across service providers and government agencies.
    • Ensure adequate and reliable staffing to ensure the effective operation of the site(s) and avoid overtime shifts, coordinating background checks and other vetting.
    • Provide regular staff training and coaching opportunities for professional and skills development.
    • Ensure staff participation in SOSi and customer-sponsored, mandatory trainings.
    • Provide ongoing opportunities for mandated reporter training for child abuse and neglect.
    • Ensure that all staff are up-to-date in CPR and First Aid certifications.
    • Hire for any staff positions when vacancies or new positions occur.
    • Supervise and support outreach and onboarding functions for staff recruiting and retention.
    • Oversee all transportation functions to support the Site Operations Supervisor(s) and maintain good relations with transportation vendors and meet guests' transportation needs, including scheduling and coordination support.
    • Assist with the development of systems, processes and tools to enhance program performance.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Bachelor's Degree in social service, education, psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science.
    • Must have at least two (2) years of progressive employment experience with a social services agency or organization, or two years of operations management experience.
    • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check, after accepting a conditional offer of employment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience and/or training in Massachusetts-operated shelters is preferred but not required.
    • Experience working with immigrant populations is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

    • Work in a fast-paced environment and remain emotionally controlled.
    • Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365. Inside and outside, all weather conditions.
    • Travel throughout the U.S. as needed.
