    Job Description

    An outpatient primary care clinic in Kansas City, KS is looking for a skilled Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN to join their team full-time. Check out the details below:


    Position: Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN
    Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
    Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
    Location: Kansas City, KS
    Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, one evening until 7pm per week, and one Saturday a month 8am-12pm
    Salary: Competitive hourly pay based on experience plus full benefits

    The responsibilities of the Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN may include, but are not limited to:
    • Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a registered nurse and/or medical provider
    • Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and accurately recording information on patients' charts and records
    • Drawing blood samples from patients; preparing samples and other specimens for laboratory analysis with appropriate requisitions
    • Conducting vision screens, ear irrigations, finger sticks, phlebotomy, hearing screens, asthma nebulizer treatments, or other clinic approved procedures
    • Preparing and maintaining accurate, updated, and thorough medical records for providers

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Active Kansas or compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
    • Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in outpatient settings
    • Up to date on vaccinations (COVID not required)
    • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
