    We are currently partnered with an established global fintech who is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to provide hands on support and strategic oversight to the trading operations of the the firm's investment platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and provide direct support to daily operations including: monitoring trading activities and money movement, managing/reconciling daily cash balances, overseeing cash reporting and projections, and processing fund-in and fund-out transactions.
    • Oversee the settlement process, including trade confirmation, reconciliation, and the resolution of trade discrepancies.
    • Support the overall strategy and efficiency of the operations function by identifying and implementing operational improvements and potential controls. Similarly, help identify and draft requirements and testing plans for the development of a back-office system.
    • Assist in clients' services matters and respond to escalations of complex operational issues for both internal and external clients.
    • Monitor and manage corporate actions, ensuring timely and accurate processing and communication to relevant stakeholders.
    • Facilitate the transfer of assets via ACAT's (Automated Customer Account Transfer Service) and manage associated workflows.
    • Conduct regular reconciliations of trading activity, cash positions, and other critical data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Perform regular bank verification and global sanctions screening checks and oversight on existing clients within the system.
    • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

    Qualifications

    • Series 7 & 63 required, with the ability to obtain Series 24 within 6 months.
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Middle and Back-Office Finance Operations
    • Comprehensive understanding of brokerage operations, including Settlements, Corporate Actions, ACAT's, Reconciliation, and Cashiering functions.
    • Familiarity with 15c3-3 Customer Protection rules
    • Knowledge of US market trading and settlement, with additional Hong Kong experience as a plus.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work hybrid in Jersey City, NJ.
