Summary:
This position will treat a combination of adult or pediatric caseloads.
The pediatric caseloads are focused on diagnosis that include:
torticollis, plagiocephaly, and brachycephaly. The adult caseloads are orthopedic and experience can be neurological as well.
Under the general supervision of the rehab manager or supervisor, performs therapy examinations, develops treatment plans and goals, and applies interventions in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the profession, applicable state licensure regulations, and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age, in an outpatient care setting.
Responsibilities:
Provides care to special populations including:
Oncology, Lymphedema, Amputee, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Total Joint Replacement, Orthopedic and Neurologic 3. Delegates and supervises patient related tasks to assistants, aides, and support personnel. Supervises students as assigned. 4. Collaborates with other disciplines to provide coordinated interdisciplinary patient care. 5. Manages time effectively and demonstrates willingness to work a variety of scheduling patterns within individual control hours. 6.
Makes independent decisions within the scope of defined job description, level of knowledge, skills and abilities but seeks guidance as necessary for performance of duties.

Credentials:
Current license to practice in Connecticut: Successful completion of minimum educational requirements for licensure including all clinical practice and comprehensive examinations.
Temporary licensure may be considered at the discretion of the department manager.CPR/AED certified
