    Georgia Military College Milledgeville Campus is accepting applications for the position of Enrollment Coach Assistant. The Enrollment Assistant is responsible for supporting the functions of the Enrollment Office. Primarily, they will recruit new students on behalf of all Georgia Military College Pathways of Opportunity. They will also support the Enrollment Office in its day-to-day operations as well as support Enrollment events such as New Student Orientations, Open Houses, and Campus Tours.

    Major Duties:
    • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
    • Represent Georgia Military College at a variety of recruitment events including community events, high school events, and campus events with the purpose of marketing GMC and recruiting new students to attend GMC.
    • Support the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Office by answering phones, helping manage walk-ins, and outreach to prospective students.
    • Assist with maintaining & executing new student orientations each term.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    *Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Required:
    • High school diploma
    • One year experience working in recruiting and/or marketing.
    • customer service, strong written and verbal skills, excellent phone communication, organization, intermediate computing
    • Basic higher education and admissions principles, practices, and processes.
    • Ability to work with databases to support maintaining student information.
    • Using a computer and related software applications.
    • Communication, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, and the public, are sufficient to exchange or convey information.
    Preferred Requirements:
    • Associate's Degree
    • Post-Secondary Institution Admissions experience
    • Knowledge of Georgia Military College rules and regulations

      •Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures

      •Datatel (Colleague) knowledge

      •Interpersonal relations training

      •CRM experience

      •Microsoft Office product familiarization
