Description
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatric Critical Care, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join the Pediatric Medical Intensive Care Unit. Our children's hospital serves a geographical area of 1.2 million children in Southern California. The Pediatric Critical Care service includes a 25-bed medical/surgical PICU, and a 19-bed pediatric cardiac/solid organ transplant intensive care unit and a separate 25-bed step-down unit. The PICU has approximately 1800 admissions per year. Our services include an active pediatric critical care transport team performing about 800 transports annually of which 80% come to the intensive care units.
The ideal candidate will have Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care training and at least 5 years of experience in an academic facility with an enthusiasm and/or track record of effective teaching. Special consideration will be given to those who have a background in neuro critical care.

Loma Linda University is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire. Nestled at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains, we have convenient access to beach cities, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This region also has excellent private and public-school systems.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $205,000 - $253,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
