Butlr's People Sensing Platform anonymously infers human presence and activity via its thermal, wireless sensors to deliver rich spatial insights at a fraction of the cost and time of legacy alternatives.

About the Job:
We are hiring an experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to drive our product in the market.

Our frontend UI is a business focused web application, used for visualizing large datasets, live data, presenting insights, and system statistics.

This application will feature an interactive canvas to modify and visualize physical layouts layered with insight information provided by our system.

This role will enhance the current functionality of our front end products, experiment with data visualization, and create a new system management platform.

You will take on leading feature development and selection with our Product Manager for the web application.

You would be responsible for direction of our CI/CD, A/B testing, front end architecture, and team best practices while delivering concrete features to our customers.

You will report directly to our Head of Software Engineering.


Responsibilities:
Work on technical frontend challenges in design and implementation of data visualization, and also in 2D space visualization.

Assist with hiring, recruiting and mentoring junior team members

Influence our UI design by collaborating with customers and listening to their feedback

Develop and measure features in a lean environment


Requirements:
You are a strong front engineer with a strong eye for design.

You have 5+ years of experience in UI development along with some exposure to or experience in UX design.

You have experience with UI technologies, preferably React, Typescript, Javascript, Redux, Vue

You have experience with multiple software front end technologies including d3, jquery, GraphQL, chart

1-2 years of experience with CI/CD, A/B Testing, front end infrastructure

You have experience mentoring junior developers into great team players

Strong project leadership and task management expertise.

Compensation:
$140,000 - $180,000 base salary
