    Purpose of Job

    The Supplier Manager for the Walmart Platform is primarily responsible for coordinating with external Walmart teams and our internal category teams to build large supply orders and negotiate terms for bi-annual submissions. This role will rely on the individual's strength to build out strategies to ensure the maximized sales volume and ideal retail strategies. The supplier manager is a strong advocate to bring Newegg products and Newegg brands into Walmart stores to build the PC Building consumer base.

    Job Description
    • Setup supplier account with Neweggs technical teams for integration.
    • Determine a regular schedule for item level recommendation and collaboration with Walmart. Communicate with product managers, merchandisers, and other marketing team members to collect and/or initiate qualified items, product launches, and launch time preference, demographic/audience, store placement or arrangement.
    • Marketplace Management: work with External Marketplace account managers to arrange potential purchasing to meet requirements for supplier needs.
    • Assess and build reports for sourcing opportunities for collaboration between Newegg and Walmart with Walmarts account managers and Newegg category managers.
    • Build and action on a roadmap for potential promotions, in-store events, end-cap designs, store partnerships, and customer targeting.
    • Monitor, identify, and action on potential margin or sales abnormalities. Enact plan to remedy or enhance based off observations.
    • Create reports for performance identifying action plans for optimization
    • New proposals: propose new ideas for customer targeting, marketing, collaboration with Walmart, and any other initiatives based on enacted executions, experiences, or performances.
    • Review current catalog and sourcing against ideal sourcing for Walmart Supply, and work with category teams for future sourcing advisement and expansion.
    • Maintain product portfolio available for Walmart Supplier
    • Initiate and nurture professional relationships with Walmart team.
    • Manage and maintain Walmart fulfillment services product sourcing/fulfillment

    Job Requirements
    • You have a bachelors Degree in business management or 5+ years relevant retail supplier experience
    • 3+ years of merchandising experience in an IT e-commerce environment
    • 2+ years of retail management experience
    • Extensive knowledge in sourcing, logistics, and negotiations
    • Extensive knowledge of various marketing opportunities as well traditional media
    • Able to compose and communicate analysis on internal and external trend changes
    • Understanding of Marketing Principles and Retailing
    • Ability to build relationships and maintain strong partnerships
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Detail and result oriented with sense of urgency
    • Excellent analytical, organizational and coordination skills
    • Team-oriented and able to work in cross-functional environment
    Essential Mental & Physical Function

    • Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.
    Physical Functions
    • Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant keyboarding and telephone usage.

    Pay Transparency

    This job posting may span more than one job level.

    The base salary range for this position in City of Industry, CA is $75,000 - $85,000 annually.

    In addition to base salary, this job is eligible additional quarterly bonus or incentive.     Work Environment

    Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

    Travel Requirements

    15% national travel by car and/or by plane.
