    Job Description

    Local Longwood company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk/Bookkeeper to contribute to the financial success of our organization, utilizing their expertise in Sage accounting software.

    Duties:

    • Process accounts payable invoices and payments with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Perform data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system, ensuring seamless integration.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a prompt manner.
    • Manage inventory control processes efficiently.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions for transparent reporting.
    • Provide support with general ledger accounting tasks as needed.
    • Generate monthly accounting reports for informed decision-making.

    Requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years' experience in accounting preferred.
    - Proven track record as an accounts payable clerk or similar role.
    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
    - Proficient in using accounting software Sage, Business Works, and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
    - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Work Details:

    • Job Type: Full-time
    • Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00
    • Expected Hours: 40 per week
    • Benefits: Health insurance
    • Schedule: (M-TH) 8:30am-5pm, (F) 8:00am-4:30pm
