Nurses Etc. Staffing is looking for experienced OB/GYN Physician (Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician)to join our team at Fort Carson, CO.
The position represents:
Excellent compensation
PTO, sick leave, and 11 paid federal holidays
Any active license is acceptable in this government facility.
Position Qualification/Requirements:
Education: The Physician – OB/GYN shall have a doctorate degree from an accredited college approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or Doctor of Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association. Graduates of foreign medical schools are required to possess both a medical license and other certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or 5th Pathway
Certification: Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) or an equivalent accredited program. Maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is the only program accepted for these certifications.
Internship/Residency: Successful completion of a four year residency program which is accredited by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Physicians. o Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instruction.
Licensure: Unrestricted license in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine.
