Making continuous patrols throughout Medical Center observe take corrective action regarding violations detrimental conditions related security safety patients visitors team members students property either foot vehicle Responding calls codes security assistance proper action including responding quickly effectively emergent non-emergent situations Codes timely manner Providing continuous coverage Medical Center controlling access area assisting patients visitors necessary Challenges unauthorized persons professional courteous manner issues appropriate passes enforces policies procedures Medical Center Maintaining controlling access facilities owned operated leased owned Hackensack Meridian Health Expedite ensure safe flow traffic Medical Center parking lots enforcing parking regulations Conduct preliminary detailed investigations unusual occurrences falling realm security matters interviewing witnesses obtaining signatures collecting accurate information Responding fire drills perform fire watches facilitate fire department inspections regional safety function Provide escorts team member visitor vehicles requested jurisdiction Reporting duty clean complete Medical Center issued uniform photo identification badge security officer breast badge Making continuous inspections outer buildings grounds parking lots Works facilities detection fire life safety hazards Inspecting packages leaving Medical Center when necessary according policy Preparing submitting computerized security incident reports end shift Completing submitting daily activity log completion tour duty Maintaining departmental security equipment good operating condition reports damage immediately Security Leader Always keeps Security Leaders informed matters pertinent safety security conditions Has knowledge abides Code Conduct regulations departmental procedures policies including parking regulations Completes in-service training lectures programs assigned Attend mandatory meetings departmental special Subject weather conditions required work areas Medical Center including parking lots grounds outer buildings requested Perform duties assigned Security leadership execute physical component emergency management plan occurrence emergency Other duties projects assigned Adheres HMH Organizational competencies standards behaviorJob description
