    1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    2. Summary of Duties - Responsible for supervising all store personnel during closing shift. Review scheduling, inventory levels, ordering liquor from Superior distribution center, store conditions, security, warehouse operations, reviewing store sanitation, parking lot, service levels, store closing reports and customers service related issues.
    3. Scope of duties- Performs the duties of a Sales Manager for Superior. Specifically oversees the overall store operation of store and departments within the store.
    4. Prime Responsibilities - Oversee the following departments:
    Store operations
    1. Effectively communicates with customers and resolves problems and conflicts using his/her best judgment and discretion. Maintains a good rapport with all customers.
    2. Oversees all aspects of store appearance including sales floor, check stands, shelves, produce, meat, bakery and tortilleria. Delegates task to subordinates to ensure store and departments meet company standards.
    3. Fully understands company policies with regards to customer service on the front end afternoon receiving, employee related matters.
    4. Oversees and supervises registers/terminals operating procedures, functions and capabilities, money and check security, check cashing policies, delegates front end assignments to subordinates through Head cashiers or Assistant Sales Manager.
    5. Responsible for safety enforcement throughout the store.
    6. Security patrol program utilizing store security and under Loss prevention agents.
    7. Ensures security throughout warehouses and receiving areas.
    8. Oversees proper sales recording through register areas for customers and employees.
    9. Communicates with store manager scheduling and inventory needs to maximize sales
    10. Ensures store is closed with conditions in accordance with Superior standards
    Personnel
    1. Training of personnel to work in safe and productive manner.
    2. Maintains employee appearance standards and counsels employees as needed.
    3. Ensures proper time recording is being followed by employees.
    4. Directs and oversees work of all subordinates during closing shift.
    5. Makes themselves available to employees to listen to any grievances and complaints employee may have, resolving if possible and directing employee to proper contact when issue cannot be solved immediately.
    6. Evaluates employees efficiency and productivity
    7. Trains and develops employees selected by management for advancement in store.
    8. Disciplines and counsels selected employees who are he/she are directly supervising.
    9. Plans and distributes work with assigned methods and techniques to be used.
    10. Ensure that all employees you are responsible for take their meal and breaks
    11. Ensure compliance with safety programs and procedures.
    Wage: $17 - $20

    * Under NO circumstance may minors work with any type of Machinery.Minors must comply with all stipulations indicated on their work permit.

We will not collect additional categories of Personal Information or use the Personal Information we collected for materially different purposes without first providing applicants notice.
    • Personal Identifiers. We collect your name, driver's license or ID number, email address, phone number, and mailing address from you during our recruitment processes. We may collect personal identifiers about your emergency contacts, if you provide this information.
    • Characteristics of Protected Classifications Under California or Federal Law. We may collect your date of birth, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, racial or ethnic origin, disability information, genetic information, marital status, or pregnancy and related information, if you provide this information as part of your application.
    • Professional or Employment-Related Information. We collect information related to your employment history during the recruitment process. We will not request or collect your salary history information during the application process.
    • Education Information. We collect your education history from you as part of your application.
    • Inferences. We may collect inferences drawn from the foregoing information such as your characteristics, preferences, aptitudes, or behaviors.
    3. How We Use the Information We Collect

    We use the Personal Information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:
    • Recruiting and Hiring. We use the Personal Information we collect from your application and through the interview process to evaluate your qualifications and eligibility for employment.
    • Government Reporting. We use the Personal Information we collect to comply with mandatory government reporting requirements and applicable laws.
    4. Additional Rights Under California Law

    At this time, the CCPA does not afford you the right to make requests regarding your Personal Information. Superior Grocers will inform you about any policies and procedures related to such rights if they become available. This does not affect other rights you may have under the California Labor Code or similar laws.

    To the extent permitted by applicable law, Superior Grocers will retain your Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purpose of meeting any legal, accounting, or other reporting requirements or obligations.

    6. How You Are Protected Against Discrimination and Retaliation

    Superior Grocers will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the CCPA. This commitment applies to all persons involved in Superior Grocers operations and prohibits unlawful discrimination by any employee of Superior Grocers. Anyone found to be engaging in unlawful discrimination will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.     Nothing in this Notice restricts Superior Grocers' ability to otherwise:

    • Cooperate with law enforcement agencies concerning conduct or activity that the business, service provider, or third party reasonably and in good faith believes may violate federal, state, or local law;
